It´s already over… ;_; Well, it lasted for 13 great episodes which told every characters story perfectly. Only a few series can keep their plot together as well as KimiAru (hello Clannad´s horrible pacing). There was no dragging and every one had enough screentime. Even if the animation wasn´t one of the bests, the way KimiAru handles it´s characters is exemplary.

On the last episode Ren´s father threatens the happiness of Kuonji family and because of it, Ren becomes hesitant. He messes up at work and Shinra fires him temporarily, she´s still confused from the happenings of previous episode. After some talk with her sisters, she comes to her senses and she and Ren make up. But the issue with Ren´s father is still unsolved so he meets with him at the park. There he starts to beat up Ren as usually and Ren gives in until Benisu and Shinra intervened and encouraged Ren to stand up to fight. He´s finally able to abandon his miserable father and start a new. But after his father realises he´s now all alone, he regrets of what he has done. Then Mihato comes to him and tells him that he needs to change his lifestyle if he wants his family back. When the ending rolls on we see how life continues on Kuonji mansion and how Ren and Mihato´s father have become a better man. Everyone´s happy and problems are solved. This was truly a Happy End which doesn´t leave any room for second season.

They kissed as I wished. ^^ No confessions, but this scene is better than nothing.
KimiAru was a right choice to be my first anime series to write episode summaries. It remained funny from beginning to end, it had glorious yuri fanservice to keep my fangirl awake and average plot to keep the series interesting and blogging of it pleasant, not a task. It´s been a fun ride, but now it´s over and time for me to start my crusade to find a new series to blog. Right now I don´t have a slightest idea which one it will be.
Yes, good choice. I watched ep1 and dropped it like a hot potato, then came back by chance to see ep3 and was hooked from then on. This not only had the most outrageous fanservice comedy, but also had actual characters and relationships, too.

The kiss at the end was good, but the drool or spit that linked their mouths was kind of vile.

hashihime: Good thing you gave KimiAru a second change. ^^ As you said, there´s actually great characters under all that fanservice. Sure there are a lot of clichés, but they doesn´t matter as long as series is this fun.
Keith Shepard: Indeed, that fanservice drool was just Yuck… >.<
