After having a negative first impression of Katekyo Hitman Reborn, I was very keen to drop it. That´s when I ran into an interesting Reborn AMV at YouTube. Because of my curiosity to understand where all the fandom comes from, I decided to stand it a bit longer. I watched more Reborn BL-videos and the series itself. I still thought it was pretty bad, until Mukuro arc began around episode 20. During this first serious story line, I started to realise why this series is so popular. This arc introduced new characters, deepened old ones and actually had a good plot. Even I started to like the series and appreciate it´s characters and crazy comedy. Slowly, with the help of YouTube, I turned into a full-blooded Katekyo Hitman Reborn fangirl. Here are my Top5 YouTube favourites, those videos which strengthen my obsession with Reborn:

When he was introduced at Fuuma´s village, killing people with just lifting a finger, my first thought was that he´s one of those thought guys who tend to annoy me. Those who are emotionless because their skills are so incredible, which makes them cool and whose only desire is to complete a mission. But this first impression was crushed at episode 4.

Lots of questions from the first season were answered in four episodes of R2, but there´s still many secrets left open. What bothers me most, is that how C.C. survived from the bottom of the sea? Maybe because of the ridiculousness of Sunrise is endless…

For a history nerd like me, Amatsuki is like a sweet candy.

Amatsuki is a story of boy, Tokidoki aka Toki, who fails history class and takes supplementary classes at a high-tech museum which has built a realistic CG-village of Edo period´s Bakumatsu era (1853-1867). At the simulation village, he realises that graphic has turned into reality when demons attacks him and he loses the vision in his left eye. After he´s saved by a woman named Kuchiha, he is told that he´s in Edo period´s Japan and he can see demons that wander amongst humans.

Zero no Tsukaima´s Louise as a waitress. This gorgeous figure of Louise just arrived at my doorstep and because I´m trying to improve my indoor photo skills, I wanted to do a photoshoot with her. She´s in a waitress´s uniform so I used a coffee table as a prop. At times like this it´s handy to be a girl, you have all kinds of old doll´s furniture to use as a setting for your figures. It´s hard to express how lovely Louise is in that black and pink dress, so I let the pictures do talking.

I re-watched Gakuen Heaven. It was great decision, because re-watch raised it to number 2 place of my favourite yaoi anime list. It will be interesting to see if Junjo Romantica can knock it out from that place. Review and fangirling after the jump…

Spring is here and my crusade to find a new series to blog have begun. Today in examination are two completely different love stories: Kanokon and Itazura na Kiss. From now on, I will give first impressions a rating.

• + means it´s a good series. It doesn´t need to be awesome to get this rate, just pleasing
